"I wore my new insoles for the first time yesterday on a 6. 3 mile hike with a 1617 ft elevation gain. With a 52% grade at its steepest, I was most interested in how the insoles would perform on the descent. My new insoles did not perform any differently than the 5 month, heavily used, original insoles in my Merrell Moab boots and I actually slid forward more during my descent in my new insoles. I don't believe my money was well spent."

"Hiking in the White Mountains of NH is allows a bit tough on the feet, so recently I gave the Currex Hikepro inserts an opportunity to prove themselves and I was pleasantly surprised at the results, as I had no foot pain or discomfort after an 8 mile hike thru the rock and boulder infested trails of New Hampshire. Definitely a win!"

"After 100 miles on my new size 14 Keen Durand II's, I was disappointed with the poor quality of the original equipment insoles. The CURREX HIKEPRO's are terrific. The XXLs slid right in with no need to trim. They are a little thicker than the original insoles (which I like) and the heel is secure. Got about 100 miles on these and all is good. Feet are happy!"
Perfect arch placement, but. . .
"I was very happy to see how the Currex insoles actually fit to my arch shape, much much better than the Power Steps. But the top materials are just too thin and barely cushioned, so my toes were not happy. If the metatarsal cushy pad underneath was larger/covered more area that might help. Also, the heel pads, tho nicely cushy, aren't large enough around - the front of my heels were sore from the arch plate coming back to the front of the heels."
