CURREX Brings Performance & Support to MLP Columbus 2026

Major League Pickleball returned to Columbus from May 28–31, bringing four days of elite competition, passionate fans, and nonstop energy to one of the sport’s biggest stages. As pickleball continues its rapid growth across the country, Major League Pickleball Columbus showcased everything that makes the game special: competitive matches, community connection, and athletes pushing the sport forward.

CURREX was proud to be part of the action, supporting players and fans throughout the weekend with performance-focused insole fittings designed for the unique demands of pickleball.

A Weekend of Elite Pickleball Competition

MLP Columbus brought together some of the best players in professional pickleball for a packed weekend of team competition. The event featured high-intensity matchups, fast-paced rallies, and the coed team format that continues to help drive excitement around the sport.

The atmosphere at Pickle & Chill venue reflected the momentum behind pickleball’s growth, with dedicated fans, community events, and competitive energy throughout the venue. From professional athletes competing for key standings points to recreational players experiencing the event, Columbus proved once again why it has become a major destination for the sport.

Supporting Players From the Ground Up

Throughout the weekend, CURREX connected directly with pickleball players, fans, and athletes through complimentary insole fittings at the event. Our team helped attendees discover the importance of proper foot support and how the right foundation can impact comfort and movement on the court.

Pickleball creates unique demands on the body. Quick lateral movements, fast reactions at the kitchen line, sudden stops, and repeated pivots all start with the feet. CURREX PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles are designed specifically for these movements, offering Dynamic Arch Technology™ with High, Medium, and Low arch profiles to support how each athlete moves. By helping players find the right fit, CURREX gave athletes of all levels the opportunity to experience sport-specific support built for the demands of pickleball.

Supporting CURREX Athletes Gabe Tardio and Kate Fahey

MLP Columbus was especially exciting with CURREX athletes Gabe Tardio and Kate Fahey competing on court. Both athletes represent the speed, precision, and dedication required to perform at the highest level of professional pickleball. Kate continues to showcase the athleticism and court awareness that have fueled her rise in the sport. And Gabe brings elite-level skill, quick decision-making, and relentless competitiveness every time he steps on court. Both Gabe and Kate play for the St. Louis Shock, which came in second overall this past weekend.

CURREX is proud to support both athletes throughout the weekend and continue partnering with players who are helping shape the future of professional pickleball.

Other Standout Performances Throughout the Weekend

Group play at the tournament was extremely competitive. By the end of Day 2, the New Jersey 5s and the Columbus Sliders had established themselves as leaders in Group A, while strong performances from teams in Group B set up a compelling final day of competition.

Sunday delivered the event's most important matchups as teams competed for final placement and valuable season standings points. The New Jersey 5s capped off a dominant weekend by defeating the St. Louis Shock in the championship matchup, earning first-place honors at MLP Columbus.

Bringing Performance Support to the Pickleball Community

While the professional matches brought excitement to Columbus, the energy extended far beyond the competition courts. Fans and recreational players had the chance to connect with the CURREX team, receive personalized fittings, and learn how proper support can help them feel better on court.

Whether competing professionally, playing weekend tournaments, or stepping onto the court for the first time, every pickleball player depends on quick movement, balance, and comfort. CURREX PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles are built to complete the shoe, providing the support needed for the fast, multidirectional nature of the game.

Helping Pickleball Players Keep Going

MLP Columbus highlighted exactly why CURREX continues investing in the pickleball community. The sport is growing because of the athletes, fans, and everyday players who continue showing up, improving, and challenging themselves. Because whether it’s Championship Sunday or a casual match with friends, every point starts with your foundation.
