Gabriel “Gabe” Tardio, born in Bolivia, is a rising professional pickleball player. Originally a top-10 under-14 tennis player in Bolivia, he transitioned to pickleball after moving to the U.S. in 2019. Introduced to the sport by his grandfather at age 14, Tardio turned pro in 2022 following a shift in focus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Known for his aggressive yet strategic style and mastery of the "Erne" shot, Tardio has earned multiple PPA gold medals in singles and doubles. In 2025, he partnered with world #1 Ben Johns and extended his PPA Tour contract through 2027, solidifying his status as one of the sport’s top young talents.

How long do CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles last?

CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles can last up to 12 months, or 400-600 miles depending on body weight and usage. When the top layer shows signs of significant wear, it's time to change your insoles.

How do I clean CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles?

CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles are not machine washable and should be washed by hand only.

First, brush with warm water and mild soap using a nail brush or cloth. Let air dry. Before wearing the insole again, ensure that it is completely dry.

Do CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles have to be "worn in"?

When wearing CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles for the first time, the foot will adapt to it very quickly, however, you will still want to wear them in, similarly to a new shoe.

We recommend wearing the CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles for one or two days before using them for your next pickleball tournament.

Are CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles just for pickleball?

CURREX® PICKLEBALLPRO™ insoles can be worn in tennis shoes, athletic shoes, and court shoes for better performance on all court surfaces.
